1. Who we are

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you use a form on this site we collect what you type into it:

• Mailing list — email address.
• Contact form — name, email address, subject and message.
• Trade enquiry — company, contact name, email, territory, channel and message.
• Press enquiry — name, outlet, email, deadline and request.
• Careers — whatever you choose to send by email, including a CV.

Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP. Analytics of this kind are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner.

We do not process payment data on this site. We do not sell online. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16, and this site is not directed at children.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• Responding to enquiries — legitimate interest in dealing with people who contact us, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
• Mailing list — your consent, withdrawable at any time.
• Trade and distribution discussions — steps taken prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in developing distribution.
• Recruitment — steps taken prior to entering a contract of employment.
• Site security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest.
• Analytics — your consent.
• Legal and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who act on our instructions under a written contract:

• Website hosting and content delivery
• Email delivery and mailing list management
• Form processing
• Website analytics, where you have accepted analytics cookies

We may also share data with professional advisers, or with authorities where we are legally required to. We may share it with a buyer or successor in the event of a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

5. International transfers

Some providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision, or on Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary safeguards where required. You can request details of the safeguards in place.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiry correspondence — up to 24 months after the last contact.
• Trade and distributor records — for the duration of the relationship, then up to 6 years for accounting and legal purposes.
• Mailing list — until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterwards to honour the unsubscribe.
• Unsuccessful job applications — 12 months, unless you ask us to delete sooner.
• Analytics — up to 14 months.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased; to restrict processing; to data portability; and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any right, write to info@drkratos.com. We respond within one month and may ask you to verify your identity first. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Naţională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), or to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and provider-level safeguards appropriate to the limited data this site collects. No website can be guaranteed completely secure, and you send data to us at your own risk.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last revision. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
